1. Booking and Payment

• Reservation Confirmation: A booking is only confirmed once the payment is processed and you receive a confirmation email.

• Payment Policy: Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

• Cancellation Policy:

  • Payments are Non- Refundable 

• No-shows will be charged the full booking amount.

2. Weather-Related Cancellations

Ahana Hillside is located in the beautiful Cairns region, known for its tropical climate and sudden weather changes. While we operate rain or shine, we do understand that extreme weather can impact travel plans.

• Severe Weather Conditions: If official weather warnings (e.g., cyclones, flooding, or road closures) affect your ability to reach our campsite or pose a risk to your safety, we will offer the choice of a full refund or credit for a future stay.

• Light rain or general tropical weather does not qualify for a weather-related cancellation.

3. Check-in and Check-out

• Check-in Time: 2:00 PM

• Check-out Time: 11:00 AM

• Early check-in or late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

4. Guest Responsibilities

• Damage to Property: Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property, furnishings, or equipment during their stay. Repair or replacement costs will be charged.

• Cleanliness: Please leave the property in a tidy condition. Excessive cleaning fees may apply.

• Occupancy Limits: Each booking has an agreed maximum occupancy. Exceeding this limit without prior approval will result in additional charges or cancellation of the stay without a refund.

• Noise Policy: Ahana Hillside is a tranquil space. Guests must maintain reasonable noise levels, especially during quiet hours (10:00 PM to 7:00 AM).

5. Liability

• Guest Safety: While we prioritize guest safety, Ahana Hillside is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or illness that occur during your stay.

• Personal Belongings: Guests are responsible for their personal items. We are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged belongings.

6. Smoking and Alcohol

• Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all rooms and common areas. Designated smoking zones are provided.

• Alcohol consumption is permitted in moderation, but unruly behaviour will not be tolerated.

7. Pets

• Pets are only allowed with prior approval and may be subject to an additional cleaning fee. Guests must ensure pets do not disturb others or damage property.

8. Use of Facilities

• Guests must use all facilities responsibly and at their own risk. Misuse of property amenities may result in additional charges or immediate cancellation of the stay.

• Guests are prohibited from engaging in illegal activities or using the property for purposes other than leisure.

We reserve the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
